OH MY GOD!

we got the half 10 train into Liverpool on 27/1/07. We didn't know how close to a crash we were! We stopped just past Sandhills Station. A man on a speaker thing said we would have to get off at Moorfields because of an incident at Liverpool Central. As we entered the tunnel, we came to a complete stop for a while and were told that it was because of a fire at Central. We departed the train at Moorfields and walked into town. We split up and half went to meet friends near Central Station. We were then phoned and told by Jane i think, that the station was being evacuated and there was thick smoke pouring from the station. Then we heard a loud bang and the call was cut off. We thaught something had happened to Jane but something had made the noise in the station. Jane asked the police what had happened and was told that a train (the one before ours) had derailed in the tunnel, scrapped along the walls and had caught fire. We then realised how lucky we were lol. Just hope no one was hurt.
